Welcome

I love to try new things and try to experience almost everything at least once. I'm on a daily adventure to search for beautiful things and find the beauty IN things. To live life. Build memories, laugh a lot, and to have compassion for fellow humans. I believe we create our life and that we can control who and what are lives are about. If you don't like something in your life, you have the power to change it. So here I go, on the road to making each day special as it truly is...

The Players - Woodie

I thought I'd give you a little background on the Players in the house, so in this segment we'll talk about my cat Woudrough Theodor Preston the III, or how we like to call him, Woodie.  We of course have other names for him:  Buggar, little man, Wood Dee, and Mr. Purbody.  He's my sweet angel pie and love him dearly.

My luck with cats has never been very good.  I've had various cats since being a kid and they just never stuck around very long.  Of course, those were the days where you'd let your cat out.  But many years after childhood I moved out to New Mexico and decided to get a cat.

My husband and I went down to the city pound, westside yo.  The facilities were really nice.  They had outdoor areas fenced in so you can interact with the cats.  We were down to two contestants.  The one i choose was a black and white female.  I liked her because she would sit up on her back legs and put her hands way up in the air.  I thought is was adorable.  My husband, on the other hand, like this tiger striped guy.  After the back and forth we went with the male.  He was very curious of all the sounds around him, pacing the fence back and forth like a lion in a cage.  We thought his peronality would be a perrrrfect fit as we had 2 100 lb. dogs at home, this guy had to hold his weight.

So that's the story with Woodie.  He is super sweet, very gentle and very vocal.  I love photographing him.  He constantly makes me laugh.
